In 1974 the club moved to the Brighton League where we won the Invitation Cup in 1974, The Knockout Cup in 1976 & 1977, were Division 2 Champions in 1981 and Division 1 Runners Up in 1983 and promoted to the Premier Division. After 2 successful seasons without winnimg any trophies the club fell on harder times and were relegated to Division 1 then Division 2 in succesive seasons.
In 1988 the club joined the West Sussex Football league, we were Division 5 Champions in 1991/92, promoted from Division 4 in 1993/94 and promoted from Division 3 as Champions in 1994/95 when we also won the Tony Kopp Cup. In the same season the Reserves were Division 5 Champions.
In 1995/96 we wre promoted to the 1st Division after finishing Runners up in Division 2 and winning the play off. We also won the Tony Kopp Cup for the second year running. In 1996/97 we were Champions of Division 1 gaining promotion to the West Sussex League Premier Division, in 1997/98 we finished 4th, in 1998/99 finishing 2nd and culminating the season by winning the Vernon Wentworth Cup 2-1 in a memorable final against The Ship (Aldwick).
2000/1 the first team finished as Champions of the West Sussex Football League Premier Division and the Reserve team winners of the WSFL Division 4 Central, with the club also competed Junior boys sides at Under 8 to Under 13 ages in the Horsham & District Youth League.
Season 2001/2 we were promoted and elected to the Sussex County League
Division 3 for the first time in our history
2006/7 we were relegated back to the West Sussex Football League and we moved our Reserve Team to that league from the Worthing & District League
For Season 2007/8 the First Team are in the west Sussex Football League
Division 1, the reserve side in Division 5 Central
The Club also run a Ladies Team, playing in the SE Counties Womens
League, Division 1, at the Memorial Playing Field on Sunday afternoons.
We also have mixed and boys Junior teams from aged U7 to U16 & a girls
teams U14. These sides play at either the small-sided pitches at The Memorial
Playing Fiedl, Upper Beeding Primary school, or at Mackleys field in Small
Dole.
