Not even the Sun, Rain, Wind or Hail Stones (yes! Hail Stones, in May) could stop the rampage that Upper Beeding Football Club Under 8’s inflicted on its opponents at the Rustington Six a Side tournament on Sunday (21/05/00)

We declared ourselves supreme league champions as there was no trophy for the under eight’s overall winners.  It was not until the last few remaining games that there was only one other team that had been undefeated.  But a comfortable 3 – 0 victory saw Upper Beeding Under 8’s walk away supreme champions.

The half point of the day was marred by the disappearance of our training football that seemed to disappear into thin air.  But we have some good news later on.

George and Mark would like to thank all the parents for their support, it means a lot to the boys and the management team.

There will be no training this coming Bank Holiday weekend, but we will meet for  a light work out Saturday 3rd June, prior to our next tournament on Sunday 4th June

By the way the good news is that Jean (don’t call me Jean call me Jean ‘Hawk eye’ Gardiner) spotted the training football in the back of a car whilst leaving the car park and duly reclaimed our property.
