Last Saturday saw a very close friendly league competition in the UBFC Under 8's Group B.

It was all down to the last game against Steyning Strikers B. The UBFC Under 8's needed to score 7 goals to become league champions, but that honour wasn't to be and we had to proudly share the title with Rustington Otters Football Club, who also had exactly the same stats as us (See below)

The boys did themselves proud by scoring 6 excellent goals. We changed the tactics when all the boys became strikers playing them all up front.

However one record that still stands, is that we haven't lost a game of football since last September 1999, well done to you all.

The road-show moves to Crawley next weekend for the Ifield Cobras Football Club five a side tournament. We have been honoured and very lucky that the ladies management team have agreed to take control next Sunday, allowing both Mark & George to attend the UBFC Coaches training course organised for the same weekend.

PLEASE NOTE:

Would the boys please be aware that its an early start for them as Ifield Cobras Football Club have asked all teams to be registered by 08.15 am, 45 minutes before the groups scheduled first game at 09.00 am.

Please be at the park by 7.30 am.

Would all boys please confirm their availability to either Jean Gardiner or Sandra Middleton by Thursday this week.
