Building on last week's win, Beeding progressed in the
cup with a hard fought but impressive win against a good Brockham side. Despite
starting the second half a goal down, the character of the team shone through.
The equaliser came following quick thinking by Charlie Townsend and Dylan Fane
on the right hand side. A good run by Dylan and a quick throw in from Charlie's
allowed Dylan to get behind the Brockham defence and his pin point cross found
Jay Hide in the middle who finished with his customary ruthlessness in front of
goal.
The game was won in the final quarter following a great deal of Beeding pressure, by a moment of astonishing skill and power from the awesome Liam Clarke. Liam won the ball in the midfield battle ground, beating another man before volleying a thunderbolt from over 20 yards. It was a goal worthy of winning any game. Congratulations should go to all the players from both sides in this game for providing the spectators with real excitement and entertainment.

eager to attract parents, experienced players or qualified coaches to join.
All of our teams have qualified coaches and first aiders, but we always
need more to meet our aims of running as many sides as possible
As an FA Charter Standard Club all courses and training can be arranged
by us through the Sussex County FA at little or no cost to yourselves.
PRE-SEASON TRAINING FOR 2010/11 STARTS TUES 6 JULY 2010 AT 6 30PM AT BEEDING RECREATION GROUND AND WILL BE EVERY TUES AND THURS EVENING IN JULY AND AUGUST. THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL SESSIONS ON SATURDAYS 17 JULY AND 31 JULY AT 11AM. ALL LOCAL PLAYERS VERY WELCOME TO ATTEND. WE WILL BE UNDERTAKING A VARIETY OF SESSIONS WITH DIFFERENT COACHES TO GET US IN THE BEST POSSIBLE SHAPE FOR THE NEW SEASON. PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES HAVE BEEN BOOKED FOR SATURDAYS 7,14,21 AND 28 AUGUST. THEY WILL BE DOUBLE HEADERS FOR BOTH 1STS AND RESSIES IN ANTICIPATION OF THE WSXFL SEASON STARTING SAT 4 SEPT 2010. WE HAVE SECURED SPONSORSHIP FOR NEW KITS FOR BOTH SIDES. ALL PLAYERS AND ARE ASKED TO TRY AND ATTEND THE AGM, THURSDAY 24 JUNE AT 7 30PM AT BEEDING VILLAGE HALL.
